Life can get pretty busy, so sometimes it’s good to take a break from the craziness and chill your body and mind at a relaxing yoga retreat. Luckily, most yoga centers are already set amongst stunning beauty, but these eight are particularly jaw-dropping.

From sun salutations on a tropical Mexican beach, to an ashram visit in the heart of India’s misty Western Ghats mountains, here is BUCKiTDREAM’s ultimate yoga hit list.

Stretch and Soak at Dunton Hot Springs (USA) Although a far cry from the traditional Asian yoga locations, this place is just as incredible. Set in the mystical craggy landscape of Dolores, Colorado, up winding mountain roads, this serene yoga spot is also home to coyote, elk and deer.

You’ll stay at a sleepy ghost town from the 1800s, housed in a log cabin, and wake up to Ashtanga yoga. That will be followed by an organic breakfast, then an afternoon soaking and relaxing in natural hot springs or hiking the Rocky Mountains. Pretty epic – if you’re prepared to spend the dollar.

Take an Ashtanga Class with a Jungle-like View at the Yoga Barn (Indonesia)

This peaceful yoga sanctuary is nestled amongst the lush mountain village of Ubud, which is home to a tropical rainforest and lush rice paddies. The main yoga studio is perched up high like a huge tree house, with open windows that offer a view of beautiful luscious plants. Listen to birds chirping in nature while you practice, and don’t be surprised if an odd-looking lizard tumbles onto your mat.

Yoga Barn is a great one for all, but especially for those who are new to the practice and intimidated by other, more experienced yogis. This is because the classes are so big that you can merge into the background. You’ll also have a super relaxed schedule, so you can do as many or as little sessions as you want.

Take Your Sun Salutes While Looking Out on Rolling Hills at The Clare Island Yoga Retreat Center (Ireland) Located on the West Coast of the island, you’ll find yourself very much in touch with nature as you practice in the middle of the beautiful green countryside of County Clare. Stay in a traditional island cottage that’s blissfully basic with solar panels and wood-burning stoves.

The retreats here are focused on Satu yoga, which brings together the mindful teachings of Buddha through classic yoga moves and more modern day approaches. The classes are small and intimate, with just 8-12 students, so you know you’ll get real hands-on teaching.

Take in the Fresh Sea Air While Doing a Crab at The Resort at Pedregal (Mexico) Twinkling turquoise seas and a good old stretch are surely two of the most relaxing things on the planet. These two are perfectly combined at the swanky Luna y Mar Yoga Getaway retreat, where you’ll get two private yoga classes on the beautiful Palapa beach.

The retreat also includes a moon meditation and a night-time beach yoga class; what better way to clear your clogged little mind than with the soothing sound of lapping waves. You’ll be blissed-out for sure!

Wobble on Paddleboards While Practising Yoga on the Sea at the Waldorf Astoria Spa (Puerto Rico) Take beach yoga to a whole new level at this yoga class at El Conquistador Resort. The class involves doing yoga moves on top of a paddleboard in the middle of the sea while you float by palm trees and white sandy shores. Along with the sea-based activities, there’s also juice breaks, meditation and daily hikes included in the package.

Take on the Community Spirit at Esalen Institute (USA) This not-for-profit retreat is an affordable option that offers stunning views of the West Coast shores.

Located on Esalen’s cliff-side hot springs, this yoga retreat is thought to be the inspiration for Don Draper’s coastal getaway in the Mad Men series finale, and has since exploded in popularity, so be prepared to fight your way for a space on the floor.

Find Yourself While Taking in the Heart-Stopping Views at this Sivananda Yoga Retreat (India) Located within 12 acres of tropical paradise that features coconut groves and colorful flowers, and nestled in the foothills of Kerala’s Western Ghats along the coast in India, this yoga spot is about as epic as it gets!  A great one for die-hard yogis, here you’ll live in the ashram and follow a strict daily schedule for a minimum of two weeks. The program involves both yoga classes and lectures, but don’t worry – they offer both beginner and intermediate classes.

Relax in the Depths of the Greek Countryside at the Angela Victor Yoga Hall (Greece) This chill yoga island spot is located in a quiet olive grove, just a short stroll from the beach, and it comes complete with a soundtrack of jingling sheep bells. The yoga here has been described as a bit eccentric, playful, deep and personal, so if you’re after a creative teaching style rather than a strict hardcore yoga routine, this is going to be right up your alley. There’s a three-hour morning asana workshop in the morning, and then an evening breathwork workshop in the evening. Just say, “Aaaaah.”
