Its exciting for us to share and invite you to participate in our first GLOBAL GIVEBACK CAMPAIGN with Habitat for Humanity’s Rock the House.

Please join Buckitdream, Rock the House and Baby Animals as we help Habitat for Humanity make a life changing impact in the community of Selopamioro, in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Habitat, through a participatory approach, will actively engage the community, its leaders, and local government in every aspect of the project from design to implementation, in order to ensure quality and sustainability. Rock the House will be building 25 homes for families living in substandard conditions this October.

As part of our contribution, BUCKiTDREAM is assembling a dream team of 12 dreamers to help build the official BUCKiTDREAM Habitat for Humanity House. Starting August 1st, dreamers and BD Team Members can register to be a part of this historic partnership.

The impact of the homes will be far reaching and will create a rock solid future for generations. Healthy homes, with cement floors, improved ventilation, clean water and sanitation facilities have immediate health benefits. Families will also receive skills training and with a home to call their own, they have a place to start a business and earn a steady income.

Along with the BD team, Habitat for Humanity and legendary Suze de Marchi of Baby Animals and NRL sports figures, you’re invited to make a difference. With US. Several members have already verbally committed but we’d like to invite you all formally to join us.

Dates: October 22-29, 2016

Who: The opportunity will be available to the entire BUCKiTDREAM Dreamer Community and Internal BD team members

Each person who plans to attend must pledge on their own and register as part of the BUCKiTDREAM team on their website, and RAISE the necessary funds as part of their pledge.

The costs/donation break down each person is responsible for is the following:

Registration Fee – $160 AUS

This is non-refundable and cannot be fundraised. It will cover medical and evacuation insurance, your online fundraising page, police check and a build pack to get you on your way.

Minimum Donation (Expected Participation for each Registrant) – $1500 AUS

This cover supplies and materials for the home for each person. This is tax deductible and can be fundraised but it is due by Sept 5.

In-country expenses – $700 AUS

These expenses cannot be fundraised and will cover your accommodation, meals, bottled water, ground transportation and local activities. The hotel info will be available shortly. This covers 7 nights from October 22-29.

Flights, visa, vaccinations, travel insurance and personal expenses are not included in your Global Village trip costs and need to be managed by each individual participant.
