UMO Gold Facial at The Beauty Clinic (London) This is the facial for the most high-end clients. If you visit the Beauty Clinic in London’s upmarket Knightsbridge district, you’ll be able to have a facial with actual gold applied to your skin. Gold is believed to be quickly absorbed into the skin and can help with detoxifying and cell regeneration. As well as the gold leaf applied to the face, steam is applied to the skin to open pores and gamma ions are also used. The facial costs £350.

Diamond and Ruby Facial at Inside Spa (Lancashire) Celebrities are known for getting outlandish beauty treatments, but Mila Kunis went overboard with the diamond and ruby facial she had ahead of the Golden Globes. The facial was created especially for her by skincare guru Scott-Vincent Borba, and it used powdered diamond and ruby to buff and exfoliate the skin. Costing a cool $7,000, this treatment is reserved for the richest and famous and is performed by Scott-Vincent himself, but mere mortals can recreate the effect with the more reasonably priced Diamond Noir facial for £52 at Inside Spa in Lancashire.
